The Sheriff's Civil Officer receives, serves, and executes all civil processes and orders that are accepted for service in the manner prescribed by law. We process most incoming requests for service, and distribute process service to the field deputies for completion. Listed below are common civil processes, orders, levies, and services performed by our division. Sworn personnel serve restraining orders, perform evictions throughout the county, and enforce all civil enforcement judgments. The Civil Officer executes and processes claims, stays, exemptions, and bankruptcies on civil enforcement actions and communicates with the courts to determine dispositions. This office is closed on weekends and County Holidays. Any civil documents that are completed can be emailed to for processing.
