In January 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced a new rule to give patients better and easier access to their own health information.

This rule requires certain health plans, including Behavioral Health Plans, to use secure technology called APIs, that allow clients to connect with real-time information from their electronic health record and view their health information electronically.

The goal is to make it simpler for clients to see important details about their care, reduce delays, and stay informed about their health.

In efforts to establish Client Access to information, while continuing to expand what information is accessible to clients through APIs, LCBH has implemented our first Client Access Portal, giving clients access to select real-time information.

If you are a client or parent/guardian of a client, and are interested in accessing the Client Portal, please visit our office and complete a portal registration with our front desk staff.

If you have already signed-up and registered for the Client Portal, you can access the Portal log-in site at the following link:

LCBH is currently working with our Electronic Health Record system's vender, Kingsview/Credible, to provide clients with real-time access to a digital Provider Directory and expanded service information via a Fast-Healthcare-Interoperability-Resources (FHIR) compliant Application-Programming-Interface (API). The Provider Directory API and Patient Access API are required to be configured by January 1st, 2027. Below are the technical resources for the FHIR APIs:
